MARCH: I finalized my patent application and successfully submitted, filed and paid for it online via the USPTO Patent Center. It was non-provisional submission - and let's just say, DOCX was not fixing my problem.
APRIL: I began creating a business plan, building a pitch deck, and chasing every direction that came to mind. Along the way, I developed a love-hate relationship with AI. Patience is virtue.
MAY: Time to hit the streets. I visited multiple visited multiple fire stations to gather firsthand data on emergency response protocols and technologies. I needed to understand how REVRD could fit into their real-world operations.
JUNE: Armed with raw data, both online and AI generated, I was ready to build. Estimated development costs: $20-40k. But the real challenge? Finding a trustworthy, budget-freindly, and available developer. This isn't Silicon Valley, Dorthy.
JULY: Three months in, the urge to pitch, secure funding, and bvuild the app was growing stronger. Patience was no longer a virtue. I dove into further research, the rabbit hole was deep. I clawed my way out, feeling overwhelmed and stuck. With no other option, I turned to coding. I asked AI to guide me throgh the basics. After countless weeks of staring at what looked like digital hierogplyphcis, I began to recongnise patterns, actual "alphabets." I build the first REVRD prototype. I had a workig product. Now what?...
AUGUST: Target audience: Fire Chiefs. I started doing cold walk-ins at fire departments again. After several meetings, a pattern emerged:if it disrupts thier existing workflow, it's a non-starter. each department operates differently - different incident managment app, cad systems, mobile platforms. It was fustrating. My standalone app was simple, effective, and ready - but without context, it was dismissed. Bottom line, I wasn't fighting tech. I was fighting legacy systems. Back to the drawing board. How do I make REVRD seamless enough to intergrate without resistance?
SEPTEMBER: I found the solution. Submitted an admendment, added a new claim, rebuilt a new infrastracuture. Entered testing phase.
Now actively seeking partnerships and strattic alliances.
